Dog & Cat FAQs
• What should I feed my pet?
• Where can I get more information about acupuncture and chiropractic for dogs and cats?
• Where can I take my dog or cat for routine veterinary care in Denver?
What should I feed my pet?
There is no simple answer. Pets are like people: some are allergic to certain foods, some will have efficient digestive systems and do well on just about any diet. Others are finicky and need specific ingredients to remain healthy.
The best information on feeding cats can be found here:
www.catinfo.org
Good information on dog feeding can be found in the following book:
Dr. Pitcairn's New Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats which you can get on amazon or at just about any bookstore. The book is not expensive and it will give you many suggestions for diet and overall health.

Where can I get more information about acupuncture and chiropractic for dogs and cats?
There are many websites that can educate you about small animal acupuncture and holistic health in general. My top recommendation is a site full of articles by Dr. Narda Robinson, the veterinarian who teaches animal acupuncture at Colorado State University (where I did my training).

Another excellent small animal integrative medicine resource is Dr. Allen Shoen's website.

Where can I take my dog or cat for routine veterinary care in Denver?
Since my practice is limited to acupuncture and chiropractic, I refer you to a veterinary colleague if your animal needs dentals, vaccines, bloodwork, xrays, further work-up or other care. I currently see patients in your own home or at the office of Dr. Judy Jasek at Bellview Animal Clinic. See Dr. Jasek's website here
