Lisa Lancaster’s Bio
I always knew, from a very early age I wanted to be a veterinarian. At that time I had never heard of holistic medicine. As a young adult I was fortunate enough to experience what chiropractors and acupuncturists could do for my animals’ health, and for my own. I was hooked! I decided to become a veterinarian and pursue further training in these safe, gentle, effective healing methods. After graduating from veterinary school, I earned my animal chiropractic certification at Parker College of Chiropractic, and my acupuncture certification at Colorado State University. I am also certified in canine massage from CSU, and am trained in biopuncture. I enjoy practicing this combination of holistic therapies on all animals and helping my clients find the best health care options for their pets.

Kris Warner’s Bio
Kris Warner is a certified veterinary technician and a hoof care specialist. Her role at LVS is with the horse side of the practice. Kris has her own hoof care business and works with Dr. Lisa on laminitis and other hoof disease cases. Kris discovered the world of barefoot trimming while trying to help her own horse become sound. After a frustrating year with expensive farrier bills and a lame horse, Kris began to study and train in natural hoof care methods. She now has a great new career and a happy healthy horse with beautiful sound feet. Kris divides her time between Denver and the western slope where she lives with her husband and their 4 dogs and 4 cats. She works in small animal practices in both places as well as trims hooves on every horse she has the pleasure of meeting!
